When former LSU QB Lindsey Scott Jr. transferred to Mizzou this past offseason, many thought he’d end up being the successor to star QB Drew Lock in 2019 and beyond.

However, earlier this month, the Tigers landed former Clemson QB Kelly Bryant as a graduate transfer to take over for Lock. No worries, right? Scott would still have a couple of years to run the Missouri offense.

On Tuesday night, though, the Tigers landed a commitment from former TCU QB Shawn Robinson, who will have to sit out in 2019 before being eligible to play in 2020 and 2021. That apparently caught Scott’s eye, as he sent out a somewhat cryptic tweet after that news broke:

Robinson being in the mix makes him the favorite to start in 2020 and 2021 over Scott, and it seems Scott isn’t too happy about that.

We’ll see if he decides to transfer once again in the coming weeks or if he sticks it out in Columbia and tries to outplay Robinson to win the starting job.
