With QB Kelly Bryant nursing knee and hamstring injuries, Missouri turned to Connor Bazelak to start against Arkansas.

Bazelak started well as he went 7-for-9 passing for 80 yards in a game that was 7-7 midway through the second quarter when he exited with a right knee sprain.

It appears the injury may have happened as he ran for seven yards near the sideline before he was tackled on third down and 14 with 13:06 remaining in the first half. Missouri also had two receivers miss time with apparent injuries in the first half in Little Rock, Arkansas.

This is the third game Bazelak has appeared in this season, but the Georgia game was the most significant action. He was 8-for-12 passing for 64 yards against the Bulldogs.

Taylor Powell replaced Bazelak and started 3-for-3 before his first incompletion with 33 yards. Powell previously appeared in five games this season, and also got the most action at Georgia as Bryant sat out that game. He was 10-for-22 passing for 84 yards with an interception against Georgia.
