Missouri star running back Larry Rountree III is going to the Senior Bowl.

According to the Senior Bowl’s official Twitter account, Rountree has accepted an invite to participate:

The Senior Bowl is typically one of 3 showcase games where college players can impress NFL scouts before the draft. However, the East-West Shrine Bowl and the Collegiate Bowl have already been canceled due to COVID-19.

Rountree has a great chance to be drafted next spring. According to WalterFootball.com, Rountree is currently the No. 9 running back prospect in the 2021 draft class.

So far this season, Rountree has 432 yards and four touchdowns in five games. He has 3,180 yards and 30 touchdowns in his career. The Tigers are 2-3 this season.

Missouri’s next game is on the road at South Carolina on Saturday. Kickoff is at 7:30 p.m. ET.
