Mizzou lands 2024 commitment from Florida LB, 5th pledge in 4 days

Mizzou is recruiting well at one of the most prominent programs in the state of Florida. On Monday, the Tigers made it back-to-back days with commitments from players out of St. Thomas Aquinas in Fort Lauderdale.

On Sunday, STA’s Justin Bodford, a defensive lineman, pledged to the Tigers. Eli Drinkwitz’s staff added Bodford’s teammate to the 2024 recruiting class on Monday.

Nicholas Rodriguez, a linebacker, took to Twitter to announce his plans to play for Missouri. His commitment announcement included a note with the following:

“First and foremost I would like to thank God, my family, my coaching staff, all the trainers, teachers, and teammates without them none of this would be possible! I would also like to thank every coach that recruited me throughout this process. With that being said, I will be committing to the University of Missouri go tigers! M I Z”

Rodriguez makes 5 commitments in 4 days for MU. The recent got going with 2 commits on Friday, and the Tigers have added a new pledge each of the following days.

Listed at 6-1, 190 pounds, Rodriguez is rated 3-stars, the No. 51 linebacker, No. 75 Florida recruit and No. 524 prospect overall for 2024 on the 247Sports Composite. Highlights from Mizzou’s 8th commitment can be viewed below, via Hudl:
