The Missouri Tigers got some bad news with regards to their 2020 recruiting class on Tuesday, as a talented JUCO player left the class.

TE/OLB Maureese Wren out of Tyler Junior College announced via Twitter that he was decommitting from the Mizzou class.

As you can see below, Wren said he’s re-opening his recruitment and will explore other options:

Wren is a 3-star player according to the 247Sports rankings. He’s the No. 1 JUCO athlete in the class of 2020 and the No. 13 overall JUCO recruit from the state of Texas.

The Tigers are now down to 12 players in their 2020 class. Prior to Wren’s decommitment, the class ranked No. 40 in the nation and No. 13 in the SEC, per 247Sports.
