On Monday night, the Missouri Tigers announced the renewal of the Border War rivalry with Kansas.

The Tigers and Jayhawks will meet in men’s basketball for six years in a row, starting next season with a game to be played in Kansas City.

To announce the news, the Tigers released an incredible hype video highlighting some great moments in the rivalry:

As someone who rushed the court after Zaire Taylor hit his game-winning shot to down the Jayhawks in Columbia, I personally can’t wait to see this storied rivalry resume.

The first game is scheduled for Dec. 12, 2020, in the Sprint Center. The next five games will be played in Lawrence, Columbia, Lawrence, Columbia and then Kansas City again.
