Ever since the Missouri Tigers left the Big 12 for the SEC, they haven’t been able to play former rival Kansas in either football or men’s basketball.

Well, now that’s changing — at least on the basketball court. Mizzou announced a six-game series with the Jayhawks on Monday night.

As you can see below, they announced that the matchups would start next year, going every season through 2025-26:

The first and last games in the series will be played at the Sprint Center in Kansas City. In the 4 years in between those games, each school will host the game twice — in Columbia in 2022-23 and 2024-25 and in Lawrence during the 2021-22 and 2023-24 seasons.

This will be most welcome news for fans of both schools. Now, we just need to get them back together on the gridiron.
