When the 2019 NFL Draft rolls around, Mizzou QB Drew Lock is expected to be one of the first quarterbacks off the board.
He’s being projected as anywhere from an early first-round pick to an early second-round pick, and his performance in Indianapolis at the NFL Combine this weekend will be important.
As for now, he’s living in California working with QB guru Jordan Palmer, who has spent the past few years prepping top quarterbacks for the draft. Per a profile on CBSSports.com, Palmer is high on both Lock’s arm strength and mobility:
Palmer says Lock’s arm is “elite.”
“Everybody else is mobile or immobile,” he continued. “Drew is on the top end of mobile.”
Lock will reportedly throw at the Combine on Saturday, and it’s safe to say he’ll have one of the best deep balls at the event.
A new round of mock drafts will come out after Indy, so we’ll see where Lock is projected to go then.
