After practice on Tuesday, it was announced that Mizzou RB Nate Strong had been suspended from the team for violating team rules.
Coach Barry Odom didn’t elaborate on why Strong was suspended or how long the suspension will last:

Strong, a rising junior, rushed for 137 yards and two touchdowns on 32 carries last year. He was (and still is, if the suspension is lifted soon) expected to work alongside returning RBs Damarea Crockett and Ish Witter this fall.
Before coming to Mizzou, Strong spent a year at Hinds Community College in Jackson, Mississippi.
