Kalshi is a little different. Contracts trade between $0.01 and $0.99, with a winning contract paying out $1. So if a Yes contract costs $0.60, you’re essentially betting that the event has a better than 60% chance of happening.
Once I understood that, things became much easier. I wouldn’t recommend jumping in and making big trades right away, though. There are enough markets and moving parts that it’s worth taking some time to figure things out first. For me, that was really the only learning curve. After making a few trades and watching how the markets moved, Kalshi started to feel pretty straightforward.
How to Make the Most of the Kalshi Promo Code SDS
In my opinion, the best way to use the Kalshi promo code SDS is to take your time with the $25 trading requirement. You don’t need to put all $25 into one market, so there’s no reason to rush. Make a few smaller trades while getting comfortable with how Kalshi works.
I’d start with sports markets you already understand. If you follow college football closely, that’s an easy place to begin. Once you get comfortable with the contracts and pricing, you can check out some of Kalshi’s other markets.
Just remember that the $25 bonus is trading credit, not cash, and your trades can still lose money. The goal shouldn’t be to rush through the promotion. Take some time to understand what you’re trading before putting more money into the platform.
