Georgia, the fifth seed in the 2025 SEC tournament, are in search of a trip back to Regionals and possibly a first showing in the College World Series sicne 2008.

The Bulldogs will open their tournament against newcomer Oklahoma on Wednesday. They’ll send right hander JT Quinn to the mound, account to the Athens Banner-Herald’s Marc Weiszer.

Quinn, who has made 15 appearances with 5 starts across 28.0 innings, has a record of 1-1 with a 2.25 ERA. He’s struck out 37 batters while walking 14.

The No. 10 Bulldogs are 42-14 with a 18-12 SEC mark, currently lead the nation in RPI and could find themselves as a host all the way through Super Regionals with a favorable showing in Hoover.

They ended the regular season by winning 2 of 3 against Texas A&M at home at Foley Field. Quinn entered that one in relief, picking up the win as he went 3.2 innings while allowing an earned run on 2 hits and striking out 7, walking 1.

If Georgia can beat Oklahoma on Wednesday, it will advance to take on Vanderbilt on Thursday. The Bulldogs were swept by the Commodores in a 3-game series in April in Nashville.
