After 12 miserable weeks of 13-35 baseball, things clicked for the Tigers in Week 13. Mizzou not only went 3-0 against Texas A&M, the Tigers won the series by a margin of 23-8.
On Sunday, Jackson Lovich led the offensive attack. The starting shortstop collected 3 RBIs in a 3-for-5 day at the plate that was only a single short of the cycle. Lovich, the leadoff hitter, got it started with a solo homer in the top of the 1st.
On the mound, Will Libbert picked up the win after allowing only 1 run on 5 innings of 1-hit baseball, striking out 5 Aggies. Josh McDevitt tossed 4 scoreless frames to collect the save.
For the first time since conference play began, Mizzou heads home with some momentum. The Tigers close out the regular season hosting Mississippi State.
