Oklahoma continued to its red-hot postseason form on Saturday, beating North Carolina in Game 1 of the College World Series Finals.

The Sooners got 2 homers from Deiten Lachance and shutout the Tar Heels over the final 8 innings of the game in a 9-3 victory. OU is now just 1 win away from its first College World Series title since 1994.

Oklahoma will have a chance to clinch that crown on Sunday afternoon. However, despite OU’s 5 straight wins in Omaha, No. 5 North Carolina is favored to win that contest and force a winner-take-all Game 3.

According to the latest odds at DraftKings, North Carolina -154 on the money line in Game 2 (Oklahoma is +120 to win outright). UNC -1.5 runs is priced at +120.
