For the 12th time in program history, Oklahoma will play in the College World Series. The Sooners knocked off No. 15 national seed Kansas 13-2 in Game 2, completing a Lawrence Super Regional sweep.
OU led 8-1 in the bottom of the 3rd inning when the game was suspended Sunday due to weather. The delay did not affect the Sooners, as they added 5 more runs and kept KU from cutting into the lead.

Oklahoma was not one of the top 16 national seeds in the NCAA Tournament bracket. The Sooners head to Omaha on a run for the ages.
OU not only swept a Super Regional on the road, but did so in dominating fashion. Oklahoma took the opener 8-1. With Game 2’s 13-2 blowout, the Sooners outscored the Jayhawks 21-3 in 2 games.
Skip Johnson’s team made it to Supers by fighting its way out of the loser’s bracket in the Atlanta Regional, having to defeat host Georgia Tech, the bracket’s No. 2 national seed, twice in the regional final.
