It all comes down to this. Sixteen teams entered Hoover with their eyes on the prize, but just 2 are left standing. Sunday’s 2026 SEC Baseball Tournament championship game will feature Georgia and Arkansas.

As the No. 1 seed, Georgia had a double-bye in the tournament. As such, the Bulldogs have only played 2 games so far. UGA took care of Mississippi State in the quarterfinals to advance to Saturday’s semifinal.

Georgia had to overcome a 6-run deficit on Saturday to defeat Florida. The No. 5 seed Gators jumped out to an early 6-0 lead in the 2nd inning. The Dawgs chipped away at the lead.

It was a 7-4 game in the 7th inning before a rain delay. Coming out of the delay, the UGA bats were hot, leading the Dawgs to score 4 more. Wes Johnson’s now looks to sweep the SEC titles for the 2026 season.

As the No. 7 seed, Arkansas only had a bye for the opening round. The Razorbacks have won 3 tournament games already to reach the championship.

Dave Van Horn’s Hogs started their tournament run by eliminating No. 10 seed Tennessee 8-4. Arkansas then pulled off a quarterfinal upset, knocking off No. 2 seed Texas 8-1. Last night, the Razorbacks punched their ticket to the championship game with a thrilling 2-1 win over No. 6 seed Auburn.
