This is obviously massive news for Ole Miss baseball, which is now set to return one of the best infielders in the SEC. Furniss was named to the All-SEC Second Team following a fantastic senior year that included 71 hits, 57 RBIs, 12 doubles and 9 home runs while slashing .306/.420/.474. He was one of just 4 Rebels to start all 64 games last season. All of his starts came at first base.
