Much like their compatriots on the men’s side, the Southeastern Conference will be well represented in the 2026 Women’s NCAA Tournament – as 10 SEC teams earned bids Sunday night into the 68-team tournament.
Texas, South Carolina, Vanderbilt, LSU, Oklahoma, Ole Miss, Kentucky, Alabama, Georgia and Tennessee all earned spots in the women’s Big Dance.
Texas, which won the SEC Tournament and is on an eight-game winning streak, is the No. 1 seed in Regional 3-Fort Worth and will play one of the First Four No. 16 seeds at home in Austin on Friday. South Carolina, which won the SEC regular-season title, is the No. 1 seed in Regional 4-Sacramento and will play one of the First Four No. 16 seeds at home in Columbia on Saturday.
Second-seeded Vanderbilt plays 15th-seeded High Point in Regional 1-Fort Worth in Nashville on Saturday. Second-seeded LSU plays 15th-seeded Jacksonville in Regional 2-Sacramento in Baton Rouge on Friday.
Fourth-seeded Oklahoma plays 13th-seeded Idaho in Regional 4-Sacramento in Norman on Friday. Fifth-seeded Ole Miss plays 12th-seeded Gonzaga in Regional 2-Sacramento in Minneapolis on Friday.
Fifth-seeded Kentucky plays 12th-seeded James Madison in Regional 3-Fort Worth in Morgantown on Saturday. Sixth-seeded Alabama plays 11th-seeded Rhode Island in Regional 3-Fort Worth in Louisville on Saturday.
Seventh-seeded Georgia will play either 10th-seeded Arizona State or 10th-seeded Virginia in Regional 4-Sacramento in Iowa City on Saturday. Tenth-seeded Tennessee plays 7th-seeded NC State in Regional 3-Fort Worth in Ann Arbor on Friday.
