Former Ole Miss small forward AJ Storr is back for another year in college basketball. He announced Tuesday that he will suit up for Josh Pastner and the UNLV Runnin’ Rebels in 2026-27 after earning an extra year of eligibility through the Aug. 1 ruling in Colorado.
Here’s his social media post announcing his commitment.
UNLV will be Storr’s 5th school across the past 5 seasons. It’s easy to tell his favorite color, too.
Storr started his college career at St. John’s, then made his way to Wisconsin, where he posted the best season of his career thus far with 16.8 points per game and an NCAA Tournament appearance. From there, Storr transferred to Kansas and struggled to find a role, which led him to Ole Miss at the start of last season.
Storr was more efficient at Ole Miss than he was at Kansas, averaging 15.5 points per game with a 49.5 effective field goal percentage across the season. He brings experience and reliable scoring to UNLV as the Rebels look to advance to the NCAA Tournament for the first time since 2013.
