Alabama will be without a key contributor Wednesday night against the team atop the SEC standings.
The Crimson Tide have ruled Taylor Bol Bowen out against Texas A&M. Bol Bowen was questionable on Tuesday’s availability, but downgraded to “out” on the final report before tipoff at 7 p.m. ET.

A transfer from Florida State, Bol Bowen has played in 17 games for Alabama this season, making 10 starts. He is averaging 7.6 point and 5.5 rebounds over 21.2 minutes per game in the 2025-26 campaign.
Bol Bowen played only briefly in the first half on Sunday at Florida. He exited the game with 13:33 left in the first half and did not return.
“Something was wrong with his leg,” Nate Oats told the Crimson Tide Sports Network on Sunday evening. “I got to get with [trainer] Clarke [Holter]. Clarke kind of said he was out. Injury deal. Something happened to his leg in that first minute-and-a-half stretch he was in.”
Alabama sits at 14-7 overall and 4-4 in conference play entering Wednesday’s showdown. Though unranked, Texas A&M is first in the SEC with a 7-1 record in conference play. The Crimson Tide are looking to bounce back and have some positive momentum going into the Iron Bowl of Basketball clash at Auburn on Saturday.
