The college basketball regular season is over, and teams from power conferences are starting their conference tournaments ahead of Selection Sunday.
While many teams already have a virtually guaranteed spot in the big dance, many others will see their final game of the season played during conference championship week after disappointing campaigns.
Barring a miracle run at the Big 12 title, the Arizona State Sun Devils are one of the teams that will be wrapping up their 2025-26 season this week, and it will also reportedly mark the end of the Bobby Hurley era out in Tempe, according to CBS Sports.
A 2-time national champion as a player, Duke legend, and the 7th overall pick in the 1993 NBA Draft, Hurley has spent the past 11 seasons as the head coach for the Sun Devils.
During that time, he led the program to an overall record of 184-166, including 3 appearances in the NCAA Tournament, during which his team never advanced past the Round of 64. The last of these appearances came in 2023, and the Sun Devils have had a losing record in 2 of the 3 seasons since.
Hurley was a longtime staple at Arizona State, but the Sun Devils will now be looking to start a new chapter on the hardwood without him.
