Auburn basketball announces preseason exhibition matchup vs. ACC program

Auburn basketball announced on Wednesday that the Tigers will be facing off against Florida State in the third annual Ballin’ in Boutwell, presented by Nike and Hibbett. The preseason exhibition contest is set to tip off on October 14 from Birminghamโs Boutwell Auditorium.
This marks the second straight season of the Tigers opening their year with a matchup at Ballin’ in Boutwell. The Tigers fell to Oklahoma State in an exhibition contest last October.

Florida State is set to be led by head coach Luke Loucks, who posted an 18-15 record during his first year with the Seminoles in 2025. Florida State features former Mizzou point guard Anthony Robinson, as well as Wake Forest transfer Cooper Schwieger and Colorado transfer Sebastian Rancik.
Auburn is set to enter Year 2 under Steven Pearl. Tahaad Pettiford and Kevin Overton are back to lead the backcourt while incoming transfers Thomas Dowd (Troy) and 7-foot-1 center Bukky Oboye (Santa Clara) are set to start down low.
