The latest AP Top 25 is out and Arkansas is the top hog in the SEC.
The Week 12 poll has 4 SEC teams in the top 25. Arkansas leads the way for the conference at No. 15 overall. John Calipari’s Razorbacks moved up 5 spots after wins over then-No. 15 Vanderbilt and LSU on Tuesday and Saturday.
Speaking of the Commodores, they’re among the SEC teams that dipped in the new rankings. Vandy is down 3 spots to No. 18 after the loss to Arkansas, despite a bounce-back blowout win over Mississippi State on Saturday.
Defending national champion Florida dropped 3 spots after a surprise home loss to unranked Auburn. The Gators had been on a 5-game winning streak entering Saturday’s conference clash, a rematch of last year’s Final Four.
Alabama dropped 6 spots to No. 23 after a home loss to unranked Tennessee. Georgia went from being ranked No. 21 in Week 11 to unranked in Week 12 after a blowout loss at Texas.
