The No. 14 Florida Gators will look to keep their winning streak going as they head into Athens to take on the Georgia Bulldogs on Wednesday night.
The Gators are on a 3-game win streak with wins over South Carolina, Alabama, and Texas A&M. After a shaky start to the season, the Gators have seemed to steady the tide and find their footing. They’re currently 1st in the SEC and are 8-2 overall in the conference.
On the other side, the Bulldogs have been shaky as of late. After starting the season on fire and coming into SEC play 12-1, the Bulldogs have slowed down. They’re 5-5 in SEC play and sit 10th in the conference with a 17-6 record overall.
It comes as no shock that ESPN Analytics has given the Gators a 67.7% chance of coming out victorious in Athens. However, ESPN is still giving the Bulldogs a fighter’s chance with a 32.3% chance of picking up a big-time win.
Both programs need a win in this matchup for very different reasons. For Florida, a win keeps them rolling into their matchup with No. 25 Kentucky on Feb. 14. For the Bulldogs, a win against Florida can turn their season around and get them back on track for March.
Tipoff for this matchup is set for 7 p.m. EST on Wednesday.
