ESPN’s Joe Lunardi shares updated bracketology projections for SEC teams

ESPN bracketologist Joe Lunardi is getting the projections out more frequently as we are getting closer and closer to Selection Sunday. The SEC has been the best conference in college basketball, with a ton of teams that are capable of making a deep NCAA Tournament run.
The conference has many teams ranked, with 5 teams currently ranked in the top 7. Auburn is currently the No. 1 team in the country, and looks more and more like the No. 1 overall seed in the NCAA Tournament.
Lunardi came out with his most recent bracketology on Monday via social media, and he has 13 SEC teams in the field, as well as Georgia being on the First Four Out list.

Alabama and Florida are both currently ranked very high as well, as the Crimson Tide and the Gators both would be No. 1 seeds in Lunardi’s bracket. In total, the SEC would have six teams that are a 3-seed or higher. Tennessee and Texas A&M would both be a 2-seed, while Kentucky would currently be a 3.
There is still a lot of time remaining before the brackets come out, but the SEC appears to be in great shape to have at least 10 teams in the tournament.
