Former Auburn forward Keyshawn Hall commits to Big Ten program pending eligibility ruling, per report

Former Auburn forward Keyshawn Hall has reportedly decided on his next college destination as he awaits word on whether he’ll be granted a fifth year of eligibility.
According to On3’s Joe Tipton, Hall, who signed an Exhibit 10 contract with the Miami Heat and played in the NBA Summer League, will head to New York to play for Rick Pitino and St. John’s. It would be his fifth school in as many seasons.
Hall was a third-team All-SEC selection in his lone season on The Plains. In 36 starts, he averaged 19.3 points and 7.1 rebounds in 33.6 minutes as the Tigers won the NIT. He transferred to Auburn from UCF, where he was an All-Big 12 second-team pick with 18.8 points and 7.1 rebounds across 33.5 minutes. Before UCF, Hall was at UNLV and George Mason.
In July, Hall was granted an injunction in an Ohio court that extended the NCAA’s 5-for-5 ruling to Class of 2022 student-athletes. But the injunction, along with a similar one granted in Colorado, is on hold after the NCAA was awarded a stay. Though Hall is pledged to St. John’s, he’ll need to go the legal route in order for him to officially get the green light to return.
Should that happen, Hall would join a Red Storm team that is looking to take the next step under Pitino. St. John’s went 30-7 overall en route to the Sweet 16.
