Jeremiah Fears is going pro after a standout season at Oklahoma.

Fears announced Wednesday that he is entering the 2025 NBA Draft. He revealed his decision on The Paul Finebaum Show and posted a note on Instagram.

Dear Sooner Nation,

“This year has been an incredible journey, and I am grateful for all the love and support I have received from the OU fan base!” Fears wrote. “I want to express my gratitude to Coach (Porter) Moser and the entire coaching staff, who believed in me and allowed me to showcase my abilities at the University of Oklahoma.

“To my teammates, who have stood by me through the ups and downs this season, I’m grateful for your unwavering support and the bond we’ve built. Wishing you all success in your next chapters— love you always, brothers 4 life!

“To my family and loved ones-particularly my mom, dad, brothers, and sister-thank you for your constant support and the sacrifices you’ve made. With that, I’m thrilled to share that I’m entering the 2025 NBA Draft. Boomer!

Fears departs Norman after a standout 2024-25 season in which he made the SEC All-Freshman Team. Over 34 games, including 31 starts, Fears averaged 17.1 points, 4.1 assists and 4.1 rebounds for OU, helping guide the Sooners to the NCAA Tournament.
