Saturday night gave us an incredible slate of basketball, and ESPN’s resident bracketologist wasted no time in releasing his updated tournament projections, now just a month away from the start of the Big Dance.

And while the SEC has not been as impressive as it was last season, Lunardi still has a ton of league talent projected to crack the NCAA Tournament. 11, to be exact. The SEC currently leads all conferences in projected NCAAT teams according to Lunardi, with the Big Ten sitting at 10 and the Big 12/ACC at 8 apiece.

The update below includes the rankings for the first 5 seed lines. Florida sits at the top of the conference as a 3-seed, though the Gators were briefly considered a 2-seed before reverting back to the 3-line in Lunardi’s final update of the day. Vanderbilt and Alabama reside on the 4-line, with Arkansas coming in on the 5-line after downing Auburn Saturday night.

It doesn’t show it on the graphic below, but the 11 SEC teams currently in the field according to Lunardi are as follows: Florida, Vanderbilt, Arkansas, Alabama, Kentucky, Tennessee, Auburn, Texas A&M, Texas, Georgia and Mizzou. Of course, as you can see, Texas, Georgia and Mizzou are currently on the right side of the bubble – with Mizzou being the very last team in the field if the season ended today, according to this Bracketologist.

We’re in for a fun finish to the season, folks.
