Kentucky transfer Brandon Garrison commits to SEC team, per report

Brandon Garrison is staying in the SEC.
The Kentucky transfer forward has reportedly committed to Alabama. Joe Tipton of On3 reported the news on Sunday evening.

Garrison heads to Tuscaloosa for Year 4 of his college basketball career. He played at Oklahoma State before spending the past 2 seasons with the Wildcats.
In 2025-26, Garrison made 36 appearances, including 5 starts, for Mark Pope’s Wildcats. This season, he averaged 4.7 points and 4.1 rebounds per game. He was UK’s leader in rebounds 4 times and top shot-blocker in 9 games, with multiple blocks in 7 contests. Garrison ended his Kentucky career on a high note, logging 10 points, 7 rebounds and a career-high 6 blocked shots in the NCAA Tournament win over Santa Clara.
Last season, Garrison played 35 times for the Cats in Pope’s first season. He averaged 5.9 points and 3.9 rebounds per game, adding 1.9 assists.
Garrison gained his most starting experience at Oklahoma State as a freshman. He started OSU’s last 29 games of the 2023-24 season. Over his 32 appearances as a freshman, Garrison averaged 7.5 points and 5.3 rebounds over 22.7 minutes.
