Micah Handlogten and the Florida Gators won the SEC Tournament championship after knocking off the Tennessee Volunteers, 86-77. The game was obviously special for the entire roster, but it was a little more special for Handlogten.

Last season, he broke his leg in the SEC Tournament, and he missed much of this season as he was recovering from the injury. In February, he decided to burn a redshirt season and come back, as the Gators are considered 1 of the best teams in the country and a title contender. As the game was ending, he was seen showing a ton of emotion with his coaches and teammates as the team celebrated the victory.

The Gators are one of the deepest teams in all of college basketball, but Handlogten provides them another big that can make an impact. On the season, he is averaging 2.9 PPG, 5.8 RPG and 1 BPG since coming back.

Florida now awaits their spot in the NCAA Tournament, with a No. 1 seed being a likely outcome for their team. Last season, the Gators lost in the first round against Colorado, so this tournament is redemption for everyone involved with the team.,
