Michigan guard Elliot Cadeau was evaluated for a possible allergic reaction to something he ate on Wednesday, according to a statement from the program.

Michigan confirmed Cadeau is “fine” and his status for the Final Four is unchanged.

“Before the team departed the Player Development Center today, Elliot Cadeau alerted the medical staff that he may have had an allergic reaction to something that he ate. The doctors evaluated Elliot and he is fine.”

Cadeau is expected to head to Indianapolis on Wednesday to re-join his teammates ahead of the Final Four.

Cadeau is a big part of Michigan’s identity on both ends of the floor. He averaged 10 points and 6 assists per game this season while starting 38 contests. Cadeau notably scored 17 points in a blowout win over Alabama in the Sweet 16.

Michigan will need another big game from Cadeau if the Wolverines are going to beat Arizona and advance to the National Championship Game. Here are the current Kalshi odds for the National Championship:
