The Missouri Tigers have gotten off to a very fast start on the football field in 2025, and that success has also bled over onto the hardwood as the Tigers just landed a commitment from one of the top high school seniors in the country in 5-star forward Toni Bryant.

The 6’9 Florida native committed to the Tigers over several other top programs, including the North Carolina Tar Heels, NC State Wolfpack, Florida Gators, and Kansas Jayhawks.

“Coach (Dennis) Gates isn’t just a recruiter; he’s a teacher and a developer,” Bryant told ESPN, per Paul Biancardi. “He’s building professionals, and that’s why I trust him with my future.”

Bryant’s commitment marks the second pick up for Mizzou in the 2026 cycle, with the other being 5-star combo guard Jason Crowe Jr., whom the Tigers picked up back on July 18th.

The Tigers have been on the upswing over the past few seasons, making the NCAA Tournament in 2 of the past 3 seasons, and this success on the court is clearly translating into success on the recruiting trail as well.

With Bryant now in the fold, the Tigers look to be in a prime position to land one of the top classes in the country come national signing day.
