Bucky McMillan and Texas A&M basketball have added a commitment from guard Bryson Warren, a 21-year-old who played over 30 games in the NBA G-League with the Westchester Knicks and Sioux Falls Skyforce, affiliates of the Knicks and Heat.
Warren will suit up for the Aggies next season if he is ruled eligible by the NCAA.
As you can see above, Warren is not some benchwarmer. He was one of Westchester’s most impactful players, averaging 19.9 points and 5 assists per game. He’s a high-volume guy and not very efficient, averaging 33% from the floor, and a better 3-point shooter than he is within the arc, hitting 38% of his shots from outside.
Warren arrived in the G-League by way of Overtime Elite. There, he led Team OTE and YNG Dreamerz to the championship game in back-to-back seasons, winning the championship with OTE his first season.
Crucially, Warren entered the NBA Draft in 2024 and was not selected. Warren signed a deal with the Heat in 2024 but was waived the following day, where he went on to play for the Skyforce and G-League Knicks.
