NC State has landed a big-time commitment in the 2026 class. Four-star center Trevon Carter-Givens, a 6-foot-10 standout from SoCal Academy in California, has pledged to the Wolfpack, choosing NC State over USC and San Diego State.

Carter-Givens is ranked No. 108 overall in the Rivals Top-150 Players Rankings and checks in as the No. 16 center in the nation. That kind of size and skill makes him a player to watch early in the recruiting cycle.

“I chose NC State because it felt like the best fit for me on and off the court,” Carter-Givens said, per Joe Tipton of On3 Sports. “The culture and the vision the coaches have for me really stood out.”

As for what fans can expect for the future, Carter-Givens said he’ll bring rim protection and lob threat ability to the Wolfpack lineup. “I’m excited to represent NC State!” he added.

With Carter-Givens in the fold, head coach Will Wade and the Wolfpack add a player who can immediately impact the paint and anchor their frontcourt for the future. NC State fans can once again get excited about a true center to be a huge building block for the 2026 class and beyond.
