11 former SEC players will announce picks in this year’s NFL Draft

The NFL Draft will feature 11 former SEC players who were draft picks.

The 11 will announce picks during the second and third rounds later this month. Of note, three former Texas A&M players will announce picks, but they didn’t play in the SEC and are not included in the 11.

Eight SEC teams will be represented, while Arkansas, LSU, Mississippi State, Missouri, South Carolina and Vanderbilt will not represented.

The full SEC list is below:

  • Shaun Alexander, Alabama (Seattle Seahawks)
  • Willie Anderson, Auburn (Cincinnati Bengals)
  • David Andrews, Georgia (New England Patriots)
  • Geno Atkins, Georgia (Cincinnati Bengals)
  • Kenyan Drake, Alabama (Miami Dolphins)
  • Darrell Green, Texas A&M (Washington Redskins)*
  • Charles Johnson, Georgia (Carolina Panthers)
  • Stevie Johnson, Kentucky (Buffalo Bills)
  • Shane Lechler, Texas A&M (Oakland Raiders)*
  • Jamal Lewis, Tennessee (Baltimore Ravens)
  • Deuce McAllister, Ole Miss (New Orleans Saints)
  • Fred Taylor, Florida (Jacksonville Jaguars)
  • Richmond Webb, Texas A&M (Miami Dolphins)*
  • Al Wilson, Tennessee (Denver Broncos)

*Didn’t play in the SEC

The 2019 NFL Draft starts Thursday, April 25 and finishes Saturday, April 27.
