2-sport Class of 2028 athlete commits to Oklahoma football, baseball

It’s Boomer Sooner times two for Colton Fitzgibbon.
Fitzgibbon, a two-sport athlete, has made his college decision. He wants to play football and baseball for Oklahoma.
Out of Danville (California) San Ramon Valley High School, Fitzgibbon is listed as currently measuring 6-feet and 170 pounds. As a football prospect, he’s rated 3-stars, the No. 33 player in the state of California, No. 64 wide receiver and No. 445 prospect overall in the Class of 2028.
Fitzgibbon shared the big news with Hayes Fawcett of Rivals.

On the diamond, Fitzgibbon is a left-handed pitcher and outfielder. When baseball is in the picture, there are always questions about the MLB Draft and whether a prospect follows through on his college commitment and makes it to campus. Currently, Fitzgibbon is considered one of the top high school prospects in the 2028 draft. He’s rated a 9.5 by Perfect Game.
