4-star LB commits to Kentucky over Georgia, Clemson

Kentucky made some noise on the recruiting trail with a big-time pickup on Thursday.

Sean Fox has pledged to play for Will Stein‘s program. He verbally committed to Kentucky live from The Opening competition camp.

Out of Indianapolis (Indiana) Warren Central, Fox is listed as measuring 6-5 and 225 pounds. On the 247Sports Composite, Fox is rated 4-stars, the No. 2 player in the state of Indiana, No. 18 linebacker and No. 225 prospect overall in the Class of 2027.

As one of the top linebackers, Fox was widely recruited. He has collected scholarship offers from 22 programs, including Arkansas, Louisville, Michigan, Michigan State, Mizzou, Vanderbilt and Virginia Tech.

Fox took official visits to Kentucky, Georgia and Clemson over the past few weeks. He considered those 3 schools before making his big announcement.

Fox’s commitment gives Kentucky 24 pledges for 2027. The class is currently ranked No. 23 nationally on the Composite.
