The Ole Miss Rebels landed a commitment from 5-star RB Jerrion Ealy during the 2019 cycle, and now the two-sport athlete is preparing for his freshman season in Oxford.

Ealy bypassed the MLB Draft to come to Ole Miss, and he brings a lot of expectations with him.

However, speaking with reporters on Thursday, he said he’s not letting that pressure get to him as the Rebels enter fall camp (via 247Sports):

“I don’t let pressure get to me,” he answered. “I don’t let pressure define me. I just go out there and play. What my results are on the field are what God wants them to be. Whatever He wants me to do, that’s all I can do.”

Ealy will team up with Scottie Phillips in the Ole Miss backfield, and he’ll also see some time in the slot as he shows off his diverse skill set.

He’ll be an exciting player for fans to watch this year in Oxford.
