5-star recruit Kellan Hall storms field with Kentucky fans after UK’s win over LSU
Defensive lineman Kellan Hall is currently the No. 2 player in the 2028 recruiting class, according to 247Sports Composite rankings. He may hail from the Bluegrass State, but he’ll have options beyond those locally, if he desires. But Will Stein has no intention of letting him get away.
Following Kentucky‘s overtime win against LSU, Hall stormed the Kroger Field turf with Big Blue Nation. He was seen celebrating with fans while decked out in a blue hoodie and a Wildcat hat.
Hall, a 6-foot-4, 265-lb. lineman for Christian Academy of Louisville, has numerous offers from Power 4 schools. Michigan, Ohio State, Oklahoma, Tennessee, Texas, Texas A&M and Notre Dame are alongside Kentucky in the running for his services. He totaled 53 tackles, 17.5 tackles for loss and 6.5 sacks as a sophomore in 2025.
Will Stein has quickly changed the vibes around the Wildcats’ football program. Kroger Field’s crowd drew rave reviews from ESPN’s Sean McDonough ahead of kickoff vs. Alabama in Week 2 and played a role in Saturday’s triumph against the Tigers. LSU had seven penalties for 50 yards, including a delay of game after a timeout midway through the third quarter.
Kentucky (5-1, 3-1 SEC) plays Oklahoma (3-2, 1-1 SEC) in Week 7.
