ABC mics capture LSU fan yelling NSFW message at Lane Kiffin during loss to Alabama

The honeymoon might be over for Lane Kiffin at LSU.
The Tigers fell to 6-3 on the season following a blowout 31-13 loss to rival Alabama on Saturday night in Baton Rouge. Now, LSU’s College Football Playoff hopes are on life support. A 3-loss team will likely make the Playoff at some point, but this loss doesn’t do LSU any favors.
Late in the 4th quarter of Saturday’s rivalry game loss, an angry LSU fan could be heard voicing his displeasure with Kiffin, shouting a NSFW message at the first-year head coach:
After replacing Brian Kelly this past offseason, Kiffin was expected to lead this LSU squad to the Playoff, at a minimum. With how much money the Tigers spent on their roster, expectations were through the roof entering 2026.
But now that the Tigers have 3 losses, they’ll need some help to make the Playoff field. Meanwhile, Alabama is in great position moving forward. The Crimson Tide finish the regular season with games at Vanderbilt, vs. Chattanooga and vs. Auburn.
That’s a pretty manageable stretch for Kalen DeBoer and company to navigate.
Meanwhile, we’ll see if Kiffin can keep this LSU squad focused as it tries to win out against Texas, Tennessee and Arkansas.
