The college football season officially kicks off with Week 0 in just under a month, and conference are holding their kickoff events to get ready for all the action. A few weeks ago, the ACC held its Football Kickoff event, and on Tuesday, the conference released its predicted order of finish media poll.

Miami, to nobody’s surprise, took the top spot with a whopping 165 first-place votes out of 185 total voters for a grand total of 3159 points. SMU placed second with 2,794 points, followed by Louisville (2569) and Clemson (2520).

Here’s a look at the full predicted order of finish:

As you can see, Clemson placed second in first-place votes with 7. SMU, Louisville, Georgia Tech, Florida State and… Stanford also collected first-place votes, though it’s worth noting that Stanford finished last with 483 points. Florida State landing 3 first-place votes is notable, considering the Seminoles were voted to finish 11th in the conference.

The Seminoles perhaps face the toughest non-conference schedule in the ACC this season. Florida State is set to face off against Alabama and Florida. Georgia Tech certainly has an argument for this distinction, though, having to play at Georgia alongside games vs. Tennessee and Colorado.
