The emergence of Mizzou running back Ahmad Hardy has been one of the most intriguing storylines in all of college football so far this season, as the former Louisiana-Monroe star has quickly become one of the best running backs in the nation with his new team.

As of this writing, Hardy leads the entire SEC in rushing yards (782) and rushing touchdowns (9), and is also averaging an absurd 6.8 yards per carry in the toughest conference in all of college football.

This elite start on the ground has powered the Tigers to a 5-1 start, and has them firmly in the College Football Playoff picture, and it has also nabbed Hardy College Football Hall of Fame Kia Player of the Month honors for his incredible September campaign.

This award is voted on by the fans around the country, and it’s clear that Hardy has made a big impression on the entire college football landscape by earning their support.

The bruising back has been the biggest part of the Tigers’ success thus far, and they’re going to keep relying on him to carry the rock down the stretch as they look to chase down an SEC title game and College Football Playoff appearance come December.
