Alabama and Georgia delivered another classic on Saturday night. The Bulldogs won a thriller at Bryant-Denny Stadium, and some fans did not take it well.

Alison Mastrangelo of WSB shared a video she recorded of Georgia staffers instructing Bulldog players to put their helmets back on as they left the field and returned to the locker room. Some fans had thrown trash onto Saban Field, and UGA staffers made sure that Bulldog players were protected from any more beer cans or water bottles being thrown onto the field.

Videos posted by Mastrangelo show some trash scattered in the end zone. Georgia players are not being hit with any cans or bottles in Mastrangelo’s videos, but UGA staffers clearly did not feel like taking any chances.

The crowd at Bryant-Denny Stadium was audibly upset about a defensive pass interference non-call on Alabama’s final possession. Crimson Tide coach Kalen DeBoer was notably animated about the play and non-call when it happened, but after the game said his team should not put itself in that situation.

Alabama is on the road in Week 7, traveling to Tennessee for the Third Saturday in October rivalry clash. The next game at Bryant-Denny Stadium will be in Week 8 when the Crimson Tide host Texas A&M.

Georgia hosts Auburn in Week 7 before a Week 8 bye.
