Las Vegas handicappers don’t see any reason to change their minds: Alabama remains favored to win the College Football Playoff, regardless of its challenger.
With the new CFP rankings unveiled Tuesday night, ESPN’s Brett McMurphy checked with the Westgate SuperBook, one of Las Vegas’ largest sports books for lines on hypothetical matchups between No. 1 Alabama and Nos. 2-7 in the CFP field.
Here’s how many points each team would receive facing the Crimson Tide on a neutral field:
2. Ohio State +9.5
3. Michigan +15.5
4. Clemson +13.5
5. Louisville +11.5
6. Washington +15.5
7. Wisconsin +15.5
Bama favored 9.5 vs. Ohio State, 11.5 vs. UL, 13.5 vs. Clemson, 15.5 vs. Mich (w/out Speight), Wash & Wisc at neutral site via @LVSuperBook
