Alabama made a significant addition to its 2027 recruiting class on Saturday afternoon.
The Crimson Tide have landed a commitment from 4-star receiver Osani Gayles, who made his announcement on the 247Sports YouTue channel. Gayles is considered to be one of the top receiver recruits in the nation for the class of 2027.
Gayles chose Alabama over finalists Stanford and Washington. He also picked up offers from programs like LSU and Ohio State during his recruitment.

This is a major pickup for Kalen DeBoer and the Crimson Tide. Gayles is the No. 46 overall player and the No. 8 receiver in the nation for the class of 2027, per 247Sports Composite rankings.
Gayles attends IMG Academy in Bradenton, Florida. Prior to enrolling at IMG, Gayles was at St. Mary’s in California.
Gales immediately becomes one of the highest-rated recruits in Alabama’s 2027 high school class behind only 5-star quarterback Elijah Haven. Overall, the Tide are up to 13 commits for this cycle.
The Early Signing Period for the class of 2027 is slated for December.
