Spring practice is right around the corner for the Alabama Crimson Tide, and head coach Kalen DeBoer has been hard at work bringing in fresh talent from the transfer portal in order to bolster his roster heading into offseason workouts.
The Tide have already landed several high-profile commitments since the portal officially opened back on January 2nd, and they added another on Monday night in the form of former NC State and Ohio State wide receiver Noah Rogers, per CBS Sports’ Matt Zenitz and Chris Hummer.
A highly-coveted 4-star recruit from the 2023 cycle, Rogers committed to Ryan Day and the Buckeyes coming out of high school, but saw minimal playing time as a true freshman in Columbus.
This led to Rogers transferring out of OSU after just one season with the program and landing back in his home state with NC State. He spent the last 2 seasons with the Wolfpack, serving as a reliable downfield threat, racking up 919 yards and 3 touchdowns across both campaigns
Now down to his final 2 years of eligibility, the talented pass catcher is on the move once again, heading down to Tuscaloosa, where he will be looking to finally unlock his full potential in DeBoer’s high-octane offense.
