Alabama may be amidst some rocky times on the field when compared to years past, but Kalen DeBoer has still maintained the high recruiting bar that Nick Saban set before him.

With the 2026 recruiting cycle having come to an end last week, programs are turning their attention towards the class of 2027, and the Crimson Tide just received some good news on that front.

As Rivals’ Hayes Fawcett first reported, highly touted wide receiver Monshun Sales has trimmed his college list to just 4 teams, with Alabama being the lone representative from the SEC.

The Indianapolis native also featured Miami, Ohio State and Indiana in his final group, with a decision date yet to determined.

Sales is rated a 5-star prospect by 247Sports and ranks as the recruiting service’s No. 9 overall player in its composite.

At 6-foot-5, the Lawrence North product also competes in multiple track and field events, making him a well-rounded athlete with a college-ready frame.

Programs such as Auburn, Florida, LSU, Michigan and Tennessee offered Sales as well.

Alabama’s 2027 class currently consists of four players. 4-star quarterback Trent Seaborn and 4-star EDGE Jabrrius Garror are the headliners, whiles 3-star cornerback Nash Johnson III and 3-star athlete Colt Lumpris round out the group.
