National Signing Day for the 2026 college football recruiting class was in early February, but that isn’t stopping coaches across the nation from seeking any late additions they believe could make an impact on their respective programs.
Alabama head coach Kalen DeBoer is no exception in this regard, as he managed to add a last-second addition to his 2026 roster by picking up a commitment from JUCO wide receiver Tyler Henderson.
The Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College product announced his commitment to the Crimson Tide on his personal Instagram on Friday night, choosing Alabama over several other programs, including Washington State, Kennesaw State, and Southern Mississippi.
A Vicksburg, Mississippi native, Henderson joined Mississippi Gulf Coast out of high school as part of the 2024 recruiting cycle, and he made an immediate impact for the Bulldogs as a true freshman by racking up 414 yards and 6 touchdowns across 10 games.
