Alabama OL Kadyn Proctor to miss bowl game against Michigan, per report

Alabama will play 1 more game during the 2024 college football season as the Crimson Tide will take on Michigan in the ReliaQuest Bowl. Alabama will have to play that game without 1 of its best players as offensive lineman Kadyn Proctor is going to be out according to reports.
Proctor will miss the game against Michigan with a shoulder injury, and that has been an injury that has been bothering him throughout the season. He missed the first 2 games of the season because of the shoulder issue, and he is going to have surgery in the off-season. He started 10 games at left tackle, and was named second-team All-SEC this season.

With the star lineman out, the likely next man up will be redshirt freshman Wilkin Formby. He has played in 8 games this season, while also starting in 2 of those games.
The matchup against Michigan is a rematch from a classic College Football Playoff semifinal game last season that the Wolverines won in overtime. Kickoff for the game will be at noon ET on New Year’s Eve on ESPN, and the game will take place in Tampa.
