Alabama has added a wide receiver to its 2026 recruiting class.
Owen Cabell, from Nashville, is the newest pledge. He announced his plans to play for Kalen DeBoer‘s program on Monday.
Out of Nashville (Tennessee) Christ Presbyterian Academy, Cabell is listed at 6-3, 201 pounds. On the 247Sports Composite, Cabell is rated 3-stars, the No. 37 player in the state of Tennessee, No. 166 wide receiver and No. 1,045 prospect in the Class of 2026.
Cabell made his college decision after picking up scholarship offers from 20 programs. Arkansas, Indiana, Georgia, Louisville, Tennessee, Wisconsin and West Virginia are among the programs that have shown interest.
Over the past few weeks, Cabell took visits to Alabama, Illinois and Vanderbilt. He decided now was the time to commit to UA, sharing the news with Hayes Fawcett of On3.
With Cabell on board, Alabama now has 15 players verbally pledged for the No. 8 recruiting class nationally on the Composite. Fans can get a peak at what Cabell brings to Tuscaloosa by checking out his highlights in the Hudl clip below:
