Alabama pitchers strike out whopping 24 batters in walk-off win over Lipscomb

The Alabama baseball team is an impressive 14-0 after Friday’s win over Lipscomb, but that game was far from easy.
The Tide needed extra innings, walking off with a 2-1 victory in the bottom of the 13th inning. Fortunately for the Tide, the pitching staff was up to the challenge. Three Alabama pitchers — Connor Prielipp, Chase Lee and Brock Guffey — combined for a whopping 24 strikeouts.

Prielipp led the way, fanning 11 batters in 6 innings of work. Lee had 8 strikeouts and Guffey had the final 5.
Alabama plays Lipscomb again on Saturday and on Sunday. We’ll see if they can keep their perfect season going.
